We do allow our puppies to go to their new home at 8 weeks of age, but we have also keep puppies until 13 weeks of age for an additional fee which would cover boarding and additional vet visits.
All puppies are evaluated nose to tail, and routinely vaccinated starting at 6 weeks by our veterinarian whom we have put our complete trust in for many years. Our puppies have a 1-year health guarantee and, of course, we are here to support their new families with lifetime support when needed. We love getting updates!
They are supervised and exposed to all kinds of fun stuff to help build their confidence. During our time with them, we do enrichment activities such as tunnels, snuffle mats, outside time, and sometimes get a random object like a box to play in. We feel that it is important to experience sights, smells, and sounds of family living.
While the bulk of potty-training will be at their new home, we do what we can to give them a start in the right direction. Starting around 4 weeks, we use the litter box training method. Puppies naturally want to “step away” from their usual sleeping and eating area to go to the bathroom.
